Movie Cousins

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when movies come out, their close cousins decide to join them around the same time. Notable examples:

• A Bug's Life and Antz
• The Wild and Madagascar

Before I leave for China I'm working at the local movie theater for a few weeks, and it looks like there are a number of spy movies coming out in the near future (most of which I believe are rated R, so I won't be seeing them, but still). As my brother-in-law and I were noticing tonight, it pays off to have original ideas. These types of movies have to be inspired by the same sources because that type of thing doesn't just happen. Just an observation to Jibber about.
